The International GTA/MUTA Association (IGMA) hosts an annual conference for those involved in teaching sensitive exams—including breast, pelvic, penile, testicular, and digital rectal exams. Although designed with GTA/MUTA instructors in mind, the conference is open to anyone interested in strengthening their clinical teaching skills or deepening their understanding of patient-centered, trauma-informed care.
Sessions tend to focus on teaching tips and techniques, improving programatic practices, and understanding diverse patient needs and care of specific groups. It’s a valuable opportunity to learn from colleagues across the country, stay up-to-date on developments in the field, and connect with community doing the work we do.
